Go Rydell – The Golden Age

By paul

Short, sharp review for a short, sharp LP. Just like the Pacer record I recently reviewed, if you like your punk rock to be of the Kid Dynamite-shaped variety then this LP is for you. 10 songs in 15 minutes and there’s barely enough time to draw breath. ‘The Golden Age’ has a fresh, vibrant sound that will appeal to kids at all ends of the punk spectrum: there are enough melodies to satisfy the pop kids and there’s certainly enough heavier elements for the hardcore kids. It’s just one of those records where you press play and let the onslaught ensue. For fans of Title Fight, Kid Dynamite and all that good stuff.
