Summer tours are the best! There’s nothing better than cramming into a tiny venue and getting sweaty, jumping and shouting with your best mates to great live music. And one of the first summer tours to hit the west coast of the United States was Bad Cop/Bad Cop, The Atom Age, and The Murderburgers. For this tour, Murderburgers’ Fraser recruited Rational Anthem’s Chris Hembrough and Tens’ Kyle Manning to join him in playing some fun, bouncy pop punk. Oakland, California’s The Atom Age is a six man outfit, with two guitars, bass, drums, sax, and keyboard, and rock out like you wouldn’t believe. They play music inspired by 60s garage punk, surf, R&B and rockabilly, and just kill it. Bad Cop/Bad Cop should need no introduction by now. They’ve taken the scene by storm since their signing by Fat Wreck Chords two years ago, and play pop punk that’s equal parts sweet and sassy, with beautiful melodies and three part harmonies, and a powerfully snotty attitude.
