Gūtara Kyō, Razor Nights, Destroy All Gondolas @ Til-Two Club, San Diego

It was international rock’n’roll night at San Diego’s venerable Til-Two Club. As bands from around the world prepare to descend upon Reno, Nevada for We’re Loud Fest, Slovenly Records’ periodic extravaganza, San Diego reaps the benefits. Some of these bands are turning their trek to the “biggest little city in the world” into mini tours. This night saw Italy’s Destroy All Gondolas unleash their dark surf-garage rock on an unsuspecting crowd. Who knew they surfed in Venice? New locals Razor Nights tore through a set of rock jams, and Japan’s Gūtara KYŌ simply destroyed the place with their frenetic garage punk onslaught.
