RVIVR, Cruz Radical, Se Vende @ Til-Two Club, San Diego

Every year, hundreds of bicyclists participate in the AIDS/Lifecycle ride, a seven-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, California. This is not a race, it’s a life-changing experience, biking through some of California’s most beautiful scenery and raising money to help reduce and eliminate HIV infections and provide much needed services to those living with HIV/AIDS. In San Diego, prolific show promoter Ziggy Pelayo, came out of “retirement” to put on a fund-raiser for the local bicycle team he rides with in the AIDS/Lifecycle, Team Cretins. Olympia, Washington’s RVIVR had a day off from their tour with Propagandhi and Bad Cop/Bad Cop and were happy to play this benefit show. Local rockers Cruz Radical and gruff pop/street punks Se Vende rounded out the bill, which also included a raffle and vegan tacos cooked by Ziggy himself, all to help Team Cretins reach their fund-raising goal.
