York rockers Glamour Of The Kill release their new album ‘Savages’ next month on September 23rd, and we had a chat with them in the run up to album release.
YOU’VE BEEN IN AMERICA A LOT RECENTLY. HOW HAS IT BEEN OUT THERE?
Amazing. We did our first tour out there in October with Alesana and then we just got back from touring with Escape The Fate. It was really cool, massive crowds every night, and we’re friends with the band so it was nice to be back on tour with them. Oh, it was awesome. We toured with those guys on their first UK tour and we’ve known them for awhile. Good friends of ours. It’s cool to see friendly faces.
WHAT HAVE YOU GOT COMING UP NOW THEN?
Our first show back in the UK was Download, which was pretty amazing. And then we headed straight off on tour in Europe with Papa Roach. We’ve been fans of them since we were kids so it’s absolutely brilliant. They sound massive onstage. Then we’re going on tour with The Defiled and Motionless In White next month. It’s like 12/13 days. We’re doing Ireland as well which we haven’t done in years. We haven’t actually been in the UK much at all so it’ll be nice to do some shows, and it’ll be great to see The Defiled. It’s gonna be a fun tour.
WHAT COMES AFTER THAT?
Back to the States probably. And then in November we’re going back out to Europe with Papa Roach, which should be awesome. We just wanna get this new album out and play some new songs instead of playing the same stuff over and over again like we have done for the past few years. It comes out on September 23rd, and we’ve got a new video called ‘Break’ which you can check out on Youtube as well.
