2000trees Festival organisers have confirmed the final names for the line-up, adding the full Forest Sessions names and three more acts across the other stages.
And So I Watch You From Afar, Krokodil and Monarks join headliners Twin Atlantic and Refused as well as the likes of Neck Deep, Moose Blood, The King Blues, WSTR, While She Sleeps, The Bronx and many more across the festival site.
The Forest Sessions, hidden away nestled in the trees, will see acoustic performances from Moose Blood, Ginger Wildheart, Jamie Lenman (playing a VERY special set), Itch (from The King Blues), Arcane Roots, The Xcerts, Muncie Girls, Black Peaks, Crazy Arm and Non Canon.
These join the already announced Dave McPherson, Thrill Collins, Bare Knuckle Parade and Jim Lockey.
“We were fortunate enough to be asked to play the acoustic stage last year before our main stage appearance and in typical XCERTS fashion, myself and Jordan nearly blew it,” says The Xcerts front man, Murray McLeod. “Our tour manager was busy setting up our gear for the slot later on in the day and he sent myself and Jordan to find the acoustic stage with us assuring him we’d be fine. Of course we weren’t fine. 2 space cadets wandering aimlessly through the forest in search of a stage which we were convinced didn’t actually exist and we had in fact been set up in a conspiracy to get rid of us from sweet Mother Earth does not constitute as ‘fine’. So this year will be stress free and a little less rushed. We may even play a new song…..or we might get mauled by a bear. Hard to say.”
2000trees runs from the 7th to the 9th July. Get full details and tickets on the 2000trees website.
