A number of you have emailed me regarding Brand New allegedly splitting up. News items featured on a number of websites yesterday (but not PT), which of course were untrue. The band wanted to clear up any rumours with the following statement: “Someone hacked into our offline site and made a false post, which caused some folks to jump to incorrect conclusions. Brand New is currently working on their next album and have not “taken a break”. Any news you hear otherwise is falsely reported. Don’t believe the hype. The new site will be up shortly.”
