Big Ups reveal video for ‘National Parks’

Big Ups have revealed the video for ‘National Parks’, taken from their blistering upcoming record, ‘Before A Million Universes’.

The video, as described to NPR, represents the chaos of the central character’s life.

The song itself, singer and songwriter Joe Galarraga says, is a dedication to his mother. “It includes little vignettes about the time before I was born, after I moved out of her house, the future, etc,” he explains. “While the song aims to honor her life and her effort spent on raising my sister and my self, the coda also serves as a reflective piece about the person I want to be.”

‘Before A Million Universes’ will be available from the 4th March. The record is available to pre-order now, physically and digitally, and will be available via Tough Love and Brace Yourself Records, and Exploding in Sound in North America.
