SICK56 – Out Of A Black Pool EP – Released by JSNTGM Records on 15th August is a 500 copy limited edition 7″ pink vinyl EP.
The new tracks are Violence, Crash & Burn, Cool Britannia (A.Higgins vocals) and the release has already been hailed “This chunk of heavy pink vinyl is without doubt the first classic punk single of the 21st century – Riot On Your Own Fanzine”.
JSNTGM – “the band and the label have had hundreds of emails from around the world asking when the next album is going to be released, this release is intended to bridge the gap to the next SICK56 full length later in the year so we’re only doing 500 as a collectors item really, full colour gatefold artwork c/w stickers etc., we’re sending copies out to fanzines and webzines for review so there will only be around 400 available for fans. There could be a second issue on another colour vinyl but that depends on when the full length will be ready. SICK56 go at their own pace unfortunately and we’re now 6 months later then anticipated, they refer to this album as “the same but different” and the EP tracks Violence and Crash & Burn reflect this – they’ll be on the new album”
