Blink 182 statement for cancelled shows

By paul

Blink have released a statement citing their reasons for the cancellation of their forthcoming European tour.

It reads:

“Due to singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge suffering a herniated disc in his back, Blink-182 has postponed their European tour, scheduled for January 2002.

Said Tom DeLonge, “Recently, I consulted a specialist and he informed me that I need to be off my feet and seeking treatment. My condition may require surgery and I will be reevaluated in eight weeks. At that time, we’ll be able to make plans for the future.”

So there you go. Either he has a bad back, or he is a very convincing liar…
