Punktastic can exclusively reveal that Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker will reunite for some one-off festival appearances this summer. The threesome are billed to headline the mainstage at the Carling festivals at Reading and Leeds over the Bank Holiday weekend in August, under the alias Parol Filo following legal issues over the name Blink 182. Punktastic understands the trio are reuniting after being offered £10-million to play the shows. The news comes as Delonge’s new outfit Angels and Airwaves have been dropped from their label for failing to record their album on time, which the band are now planning to self-release. Hoppus is facing a lawsuit for an alleged copyright breach in one of his Podcasts, while Barker spent his fortune on having a chainmail tattoo designed to cover his entire body. The band were not immediately available for comment, but Geffen spokesman Abril Um said: “If Tom ever stops talking about himself in the third person and Travis puts down the tattoo needle, there is a good chance these shows will happen.” The rest of the Reading and Leeds bill is expected to be announced on Monday.
