Highly influential Louisville hardcore band, By The Grace Of God, have announced they will record new music for the first time in 19 years. According to the following post on their Facebook page, will be releasing new music this year.

“We have made an agreement with a label to record and release a new seven inch. We will give more details soon. We are hoping to hit the studio late summer/early autumn. It will be true to the original concept of the band. To write driving and melodic hardcore songs. We are excited for this. It’s been 19 years since we’ve released new songs.”

By The Grace Of God disbanded in 2000, after releasing their classic ‘For The Love Of Indie Rock’ EP, and their full length, ‘Perspective’. Their members went on to be in cult emo band, Elliott, as well as the excellent Black Widows.

The band reunited a couple of years ago, as well as performing a string of dates alongside Trial in Europe last year. We will keep you posted on more news on this very important subject as and when it happens, but in the meantime, listen to their fantastic track, ‘Boy and The River, below.
