By Richard Craig

Cancer Bats have been announced as the special guests for Vans x Crossfire Halloween Massacre at London’s House of Vans tonight.

The Bats will join Turbonegro for exclusive live sets at the appropriately spooky Old Vic Tunnels.

Now in its eighth year, the “gnarliest Halloween party in town” will rock London’s new House of Vans venue with a theme of Dead Rock ‘n’ Rollers vs. Zombie Ripper Themes from 9pm-3am. The night will showcase the ‘Walk Among Us’ art exhibition curated by Zac from Crossfire, featuring the work of seven guest artists who have graced the worlds of classic horror films, skateboarding and music.

Guest DJs on the night include a hip-hop set from BBC Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Semtex, rock, metal and punk classics from Zac Slack and James Sherry (Crossfire Sound System) plus anthems from Dogger & DMS, whilst classic horror films will be screened in the cinema throughout the night.

The Halloween Massacre will also host the biggest bowl riding skateboard jam the UK has seen this year during the day, with a huge purse of é10,000 prize money available to both amateur and pro skateboarders from around the world.

Earlier this week, Cancer Bats announced a new album, ‘Searching For Zero’, out 9th March 2015, and a UK tour with While She Sleeps in April.
