Dallas Green of City and Colour is streaming a cover of the Tears For Fears classic ‘Suffer The Children’ from their 1983 album ‘The Hurting’ through Esquire. The song is in the haunting, stripped back vein we have come to know and love from Dallas, and breathes a new life into the song.

“Awhile back (actually it was the last time i was in Australia!!) i was asked by Tears for Fears to take part in cover series of songs from their first album, The Hurting. i said yes, of course!!!
I flew home to Toronto from Melbourne and met Matt Kelly at the studio. Just Matt on piano and me singing.
I’ve been a huge Tears For Fears fan forever. We used to listen to the greatest hits record in the van on Alexisonfire tours all the time. The fact that the Tears for Fears guys actually like my version makes it even better!!”
