Creeper change line-up and announce new EP

By Ben Tipple

It’s a big day for Creeper and their cult. Guitarist Sina Nemati has parted ways with the band in order to focus on his sound engineering career, leaving space for Oliver Burdett to join the fold. Not only that, but keyboardist Hannah Greenwood has been formally initiated into the band, turning them from a quintet into a six-piece.

“We support Sina’s decision, want to thank him for starting this journey with us and wish him the best,” says vocalist Will Gould. “Oliver is a really nice fit, and as we all know each other so well, seems really natural. Hannah is one of our best pals and incredibly talented – it feels long overdue and awesome to finally have her officially in the band. We hope you guys welcome Hannah and Oliver, and are as stoked as we are about next year.”

The news arrives as the band confirm the release of ‘The Stranger’, following some teasing this week. To be released through their relatively new home, Roadrunner Records, ‘The Stranger’ will be available from the 19th February 2016. The concept album of sorts will act as a sequel to this year’s ‘The Callous Heart’, Gould explained during a recent live session for BBC Radio 1.

‘The Stranger’ is available to pre-order now via iTunes and Roadrunner Records.
