Creeper’s London show upgraded due to demand

By Ben Tipple

Having sold out in less than 24 hours, Creeper’s London date – originally scheduled for the Barfly – has now been upgraded to the Underworld.

The show comes as the band prepare to release their new EP, ‘The Stranger’, which includes the recently revealed single, ‘Black Mass’.

“The lyrics are written from the perspective of the character of The Stranger, the heartbroken monster who is the EP’s namesake,” says vocalist Will Gould. “They’re partly inspired by recounts of sleep paralysis, where sufferers describe seeing a ‘black matter’ or ‘black mass’ haunting them in their rooms at night, while they lie paralysed in bed.”

‘The Stranger’ will be available from the 19th February 2016 via Roadrunner Records. Tickets for the upgraded London date are on sale now.
