Foo Fighters have been forced to cancel their remaining European shows, including their headline Glastonbury appearance.

In a lengthy statement posted on their official website, frontman Dave Grohl offered his sincere apologies following a well documented incident in Sweden last week.

The band have said they will do everything in their power to return and make up for the cancellations as soon as possible.
