Football charity single recorded by some of the biggest names in rock

By David Burd

Step aside J Lo, because some of the biggest names in rock right now have been brought together to create footy-rocking single ‘Football United The World’ for charity Street Child World Cup. At Slam Dunk 2014 producer Dan Weller and LostAlone frontman Steve Battelle got together a whole host of bands such as Don Broco, Enter Shikari, Verses, Twin Atlantic, Rob Lynch, Kids in Glass Houses and so many more together to create a charity single in aid of Street Child World Cup ahead of the 2014 tournament in Brazil.

“Many rock bands I work with are passionate about football, and this is a great opportunity to come together and raise money for a very important cause” – Dan Weller

Street Child World Cup is a global movement for street children to receive the protection, rehabilitation and opportunities that all children are entitled to.  Street Child World Cup works together with Save The Children, their aim to provide a platform for street children to be heard, to challenge negative stereotypes of street children and to promote the rights of street children.
