Fort Fest cancelled due to low ticket sales

By James Davenport

This year’s Fort Fest has been cancelled due to low ticket sales. The Bedfordshire festival was mean to play host to bands such as Rolo Tomassi, Pulled Apart By Horses and Toploader amongst others. An official statement from the festival organisers was posted to their facebook page and reads:

“It is with great sadness that we have had to pull the plug on Fort Fest 2017, due to low ticket sales. Despite our best efforts, we simply couldn’t sell enough tickets to deliver the festival that we had aspired to provide and everyone involved in it deserved.

We would like to thank all of you who did purchase tickets and the bands, traders and suppliers that supported the event. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience and ticket refunds will, of course, be forthcoming over the next few days.

All the best

Jon, Ian and the Fort Fest team.”
