Future Of The Left launch Pledge campaign for new album

By Ben Tipple

Having released ‘How To Stop Your Brain In An Accident’ in 2013 following a successful Pledge campaign, Future Of The Left are hoping for a repeat with their new album, ‘The Peace & Truce of Future of the Left’.

Of the campaign, Andrew Falkous says: “The songs are written (although again, we’re writing more) and we’ve booked in some days in Monnow Valley (where albums number 1, 2 and 4 were recorded) with Ant Chapman recording.”

“I know I would say this, but the songs are sounding fantastic,” he continues. “Nasty and (for want of a better word) funky – like a machine having sex with its own shadow then giving the shadow some taxi money home and surprising it by actually owning and operating the taxi and driving to a plush hotel where it receives expensive bath salts and a complete CV/Resume makeover which results in a complete lifestyle change and, eventually, world domination.”
