Geoff Rickley, solo-performer and vocalist of post-hardcore veterans Thursday, has officially launched Collect Records, following a number of co-releases including the debut Touche Amore and United Nations records.
The first releases by Collect Records proper will include the second album by Black Clouds, the debut album by Quicksand and …You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead spin-off Vanishing Life, and a joint venture with Terrible Records to release the new Sick Feeling record.
“The chance to empower other musicians to follow their dreams has been totally revitalizing for me,” Rickly says when speaking of the venture. “Most of the people here at Collect have played in bands, toured, and worked tirelessly because they love music past any reasonable point. So if the mission of Collect is to give great records a supportive home, then we all know what that means. And it means a lot to us.”
On Monday 30th June, Daniel P Carter will be premiering the first Collect Records signing and release. The announcement will be followed by the launch of the label’s social media platforms.
