Following on from ‘The Other Other White Meat’, the oddly brilliant Godzilla Black have unveiled ‘First Class Flesh’. Godzilla Black count Dale Crover of the Melvins as a fan, as well as Ginger Wildheart who invited vocalist John Cormack to sing on his ‘Mutation’ LP.
“This is probably the most straight up rock record that we will ever make,” says Cormack, who can also be found drumming for Hawk Eyes. “It took us until our third album but we finally made a record that we can go out and play live with just four people – it’s almost like we’re a real band! Don’t worry though, there’s still a bit of messing about with synths and overdubs so it’s still a Godzilla Black record.”
Godzilla Black will join Arabot in London tomorrow, as well as playing The Hope & Anchor in April.
