Great Cynics reveal new album details

By Ben Tipple

Great Cynics will be releasing their new album in 2015. Scheduled for release via Specialist Subject, the record has been recorded and mastered, with a fixed release date to be confirmed very shortly.

The announcement comes as the band prepare to join The Smith Street Band on their Australian tour.

“It’s so awesome to be brought over to Australia by our friends The Smith Street Band,” frontman Giles Bidder says of the news. “We’re a little band from London and Devon, and we’re going to the other side of the world to tour for five weeks! It’s wild! We’re also just about finished making our new full-length, which will be out in Spring next year on a label we love.”

Bidder will also be performing at the Punktastic Holiday Party at The Old Blue Last on the 19th December 2014, alongside Apologies, I Have None, Petrol Girls and Faux. Full details of the free-of-charge event can be found here.
