HEAD NORTH AND MICROWAVE ANNOUNCE SPLIT, MICROWAVE PREMIERS NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Head North (Buffalo, NY) and Microwave (Atlanta, GA) and their teams at Bad Timing Records and Side One Dummy have announced an upcoming split, scheduled to release on the 9th October. Pre-orders and upcoming tour dates are available now at http://headnorthxmicrowave.com/.

A 12” vinyl bundle is being offered, containing the split in three variants, each pressed in runs of 250, and a black vinyl copy will be available for retail. Various color variants can be purchased separately and every pre-order will include a digital copy download. The split will feature three new tracks from Head North, and two from Microwave, as well as a Daytrotter Session version of a previous release, ‘Something Right’, off their album, Stovall.

On Tuesday night, Microwave called in to Idobi Radio to premier ‘but not often,’ the first new track to be released, and listeners followed up with enthusiastic tweets (#HNxMW) and comments in eager anticipation of the newly announced split. Today, Noisey exclusively premiered the music video for the track. You can stream ‘but not often,’ on Spotify and check out the accompanying lyrics shared on the split’s website.

If you haven’t tuned into these righteous pop-punkers yet, their separate US tours kick off on the 14th October. Microwave will join Have Mercy, Transit, and Somos while Head North takes the road with Knuckle Puck, Seaway, and Sorority Noise.
