Helpless sign to Holy Roar Records

By Ben Tipple

Plymouth noise-makers Helpless are the latest act to sign to Holy Roar Records’ roster. “Helpless have blindsided us,” the label announce in their press release. “With Plymouth not previously standing as much of a hotbed of forward-thinking dissonant, discordant, inventive punk/metal/sludge, Helpless stand alone.”

Featuring a former member of Brotherhood of the Lake, Helpless do indeed switch between various cataclysmic genres, bounding between death-metal inspired riffs and hardcore breakdowns.

The band’s four-track self-titled EP will be physically available from the 20th November 2015 via the label. In the meantime, the band are streaming and offering out the digital EP via BandCamp.
