Jawbreaker share new clip from upcoming documentary, ‘Don’t Break Down’

With Riot Fest hosting the first Jawbreaker show in over 20 years on on the 17th September at this year’s edition at Douglas Park in Chicago, they have exclusively premiered a clip from an upcoming documentary on the emo punks.

Entitled ‘Don’t Break Down: A Film About Jawbreaker’, the film was directed by Tim Irwin and produced Keith Schieron, who had previously released the 2005 Minutemen documentary, ‘We Jam Econo’. Over a decade in the making, it recounts the band’s history before, during and after. It also features interviews from Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett, Steve Albini and more.

The clip sees the band and the aforementioned Albini recounting their experience recording the band’s renowned 1994 third album, ’24 Hour Revenge Therapy’.

Details on the film’s release date shall be revealed soon, alongside an official trailer.
