Landscapes Release New Video ‘Escapism’

By Mike Scott

Landscapes have released a new video for ‘Escapism’. The track is taken from ‘Modern Earth’, released earlier this year via Pure Noise Records.

On the video, the band said: ‘The video was filmed and edited by a good friend of the band called Jack Lilley at Sea Legs. It was filmed in Bristol in the basement of an old church on Red Dragon cameras. The choreography was all improv which gave us the ability to do it in one take and leave a raw edge to the final edit.

We felt the depiction of insanity shown through the transparent dark shadows of Shaun worked well with the songs concept and that the rest of the band fell perfectly into place for being those inner demons. ‘

The band tour with Expire, Counterparts and Knocked Loose later this month.
