Last night at the Garage…

By bushy

So, what a night. That might just have been one of the most unforgettable label launch nights ever – but not necessarily for all the right reasons! I see a lot of you are jumping to conclusions in the forums so we just wanted to clear a few things up. Basically after Echofreddy’s storming set, and with 300 people through the doors, we lost the power in the garage. It emerged later that this was a much wider problem – the whole block was off. Subsequently the building was evacuated and everybody was forced to wait outside the venue. It looked as the whole night was going to be cancelled. I think both Paul and myself were having a heart attack every half hour! With barely minutes to spare, the power returned and the show continued. Now unfortunately, due to the loss of a good hour and a half of time, a couple of bands were forced to pull out. I would like to stress that we had no influence over this and would like to send whole-hearted apologies to both Stories & Comets and Sonic Boom Six, who were forced to miss out, and the people who had come to see them. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all of you guys for sticking around and for supporting MAC, Not Katies and Phinius Gage for the remainder of the night. It could have been a huge disaster, but it turned out to be only a small one! We really do appreciate your continued support and will aim to do something special in the future to make up for the hassle to all concerned…
