20 years on from the band’s inception, legendary emo band Mineral have announced a UK tour for February 2015 along with a few European dates also. It will be the first time they’ve hit the UK and Europe ever and dates and poster are below. Tickets are on sale this Friday July 25th.
The band were a key and influential component of the midwestern emo sound of the 90s, and this news comes after they reformed earlier this year, first announcing an appearance at Floridian festival Fest followed by an expansive US tour. They have also announced the release of a deluxe remastered version of both their albums, 1996’s The Power Of Failing and 1998’s EndSerenading, on October 20, 2014 via Xtra Mile Recordings. Also being released is ‘Mineral – 1994-1998’, a double CD compilation of both albums with previously unreleased songs recorded during The Power Of Failing sessions, as well as bonus tracks recorded during various sessions.
