It appears this weekend’s MoChi Rock Festival in Pentyrch has been cancelled. According to the event’s Facebook page “a rare species of bat has just been found in the abandoned barn on the site, hence the council will not let us hold the event as noise pollution and vibrations would disturb the bats’ habitat. Proceeding with the Festival would mean breaking the law, and the council can sue us up to £30,000 and possible prison sentence.”
