Ovlov share live version of ‘The Valley’

By Aaron Lohan

Connecticut alt rockers Ovlov have shared a live version of ‘The Valley’ via GoldFlakePaint.

Originally found on their 2011 EP ‘What’s So Great About the City?’, this 2015 live recording of the song was taken at Shea Stadium in New York. It is featured on an upcoming live benefit compilation, ‘Live at Shea Stadium’, which will be released on the 6th October via Exploding in Sound Records. It comprises twenty four recordings from the venue’s live show archive featuring performances by the likes of Pile, LVL UP, Big Ups and more. It’s aim is to raise funds for the New York venue’s new location following the closure of its original site.

Ovlov’s last release was their Little Elephant live session, which was released in 2016.
