Possessed sign with Nuclear Blast and announce first full-length release in 31 years

Death Metal originators Possessed have signed with Nuclear Blast ahead of the release of their new full-length studio album, the band’s first in 31 years, set for release some time in 2018.

Often hailed as the creators of Death Metal, vocalist and founding member Jeff Becerra comments on the forthcoming release:
“Possessed are pleased and honored to announce our joining the Nuclear Blast family. Currently, we are hard at work writing new material for our upcoming first full-length release on Nuclear Blast. I want to give special thanks to everybody at Nuclear Blast, and to all of our supporters. This has been a long time coming and this is a very exciting time for us.” 

Nuclear Blast have released a teaser video announcing the signing which also contains a snippet of a demo for the forthcomnig album which you can watch below:
