We at Punktastic will be presenting a free show at The Finsbury Pub in London featuring The Dissociates, River Jumpers, Sweet Empire and Harker on the 11th November.
The show is to commemorate the release of London punks The Dissociates’ debut album ‘A Capital Idea’, which will be released the day before on the 10th November via Safety Second Records. Produced by James Bragg (Woahnows, Cock Sparrer), the album features four new songs and five re-recorded tracks from their last EP, ‘After Hours at the Violet Club’. As for the other bands; Brighton’s River Jumpers released their new single ‘Thick Blood’ earlier this month, whilst the latest from Dutch punks Sweet Empire is their 2014 second album ‘Old Ideas Keep Fighting Us’ on Shield Recordings, LaserLife Records and Gunner Records.
Meanwhile, Brighton indie punks Harker recently started a cassette club series. The first entry of this was a features a live session recorded at Bolton’s Kesbri Studios during their February tour with The Doublecross. It provides an insight into early demos for tracks that will shape their upcoming debut album.
