PUP’s record has a name

By Ben Tipple

Still little more information on when it will be released, but the forthcoming record by Canadian outfit PUP will be called ‘The Dream Is Over’.

According to Dying Scene, the name comes from a trip to the doctors.

“A few months ago, a doctor looked at Stefan’s throat and said: “The Dream Is Over” – so that’s what we’re calling our new record.”

‘The Dream Is Over’ follows 2014’s excellent self-titled debut, both on SideOneDummy.

PUP unveiled the video for lead track, ‘DVP’, earlier this month.

UPDATE: A previous version of this article suggested the name was yet to be confirmed. It has since been confirmed by SideOneDummy.
