American record label Red Scare Industries has announced a tour covering the UK and Europe for two of its bands based on the east side of the Atlantic Ocean.
“I think this is the first time we’ve ever had two European Red Scare touring together!” exclaimed Red Scare boss Tobias Jeg. Good Friend, hailing from Ireland by way of Newcastle, are teaming up with Paris’ Guerrilla Poubelle for a two-week run through the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France. Guerrilla Poubelle recently released the LP ‘La Nausée,’ while Good Friend extensively toured the Midwest and East Coast of the United States late last year.
Adam Carroll, bassist and vocalist for Good Friend, explained the tour this way: “The last time we hit the road in America we were terrified. There was a lot going on with Trump and walls and we thought, ‘What could possibly go wrong?’ But what actually happened was we met friends for life and had an amazing time with amazing shows. We spread punk rock, love, equality and the good times flowed. So when Red Scare and Gunner Records told us that they wanted us to head to Europe in the middle of this crazy Brexit, carrying on with our French label mates in Guerilla Poubelle, we got pumped. We’re ready to do it all again and we can’t wait to see what wonderful things these guys introduce us to!”
