Redwood unveil video for new track, ‘Blood Moon’

By Ben Tipple

Heavily influenced by expansive post-rock stalwarts, Redwood have unveiled the video for their new track, ‘Blood Moon’. With much of its short running time spent on the minimalist intro, and it’s simple accompanying imagery, it indicates Redwood’s reluctance to rush. Instead, ‘Blood Moon’ offers a gentle ambiance with only the subtlest of nods to heavier contemporaries.

Over just as steadily as it began, ‘Blood Moon’ is a beautiful interlude to everyday hassles, transporting the listener to the beaches depicted in their video.

The track is taken from the EP of the same name, due for release in the autumn. For more on Redwood, head to Facebook.
