To celebrate the latest issue of the excellent Play Dead zine the chaps in charge are holding a launch party with four excellent bands. All that’s missing is the jelly and ice cream. Anyway, catch The Early November, Sunfactor, The Next Autumn Sountrack and he Remarkable Rocket on Thursday, Upstairs at the Garage. Tickets are £5 advance and £6 on the night. The zine itself has interviews with The Movielife, Brand New and a feature on Firefly Recordings. If it’s half as good as issue 4 it will be a belter.
