Rolo Tomassi to release BBC sessions

By Ben Tipple

Recorded over 3 years ago, Holy Roar Records will be unearthing Rolo Tomassi’s BBC session to celebrate ten years as a label. The band that (sort of) started it all released their fourth full-length and first on Holy Roar ‘Grievances’ last year.

The first four tracks on the record are taken from a 2013 Radio 1 Rock Show session, with the latter portion from a Huw Stephens session way back in 2008. It includes ‘I Love Turbulence’, recorded in session seven months before appearing on the band’s debut full-length, ‘Hysterics’.

All tracks were recorded at the iconic BBC Maida Vale studios, mastered for the release by Brad Boatright. The record will be available on 10”/CD/DD from May 27th 2016.
