Sikth new album details

SIKTH have now confirmed that ‘Death Of A Dead Day’, their second studio album, will be released in the UK on June 26. The follow-up to 2003’s ‘The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out, Wait For Something Wild’, this 12-track outing was produced by the band themselves in Miami, Florida. Featuring brand new numbers such as ‘Flogging The Horses’, ‘Part Of The Friction’ (originally called ‘Death Of A Dead Day’ and streamed in demo form last year) and ‘Bland Street Bloom’ (currently causing a genuine stir on myspace & beyond), the record is set to be released via the Bieler Bros. label, with UK distribution handled by ADA – the independent distribution arm of Warner Music. On June 26th, the day of the new album’s UK release, SikTh will play a show at the Virgin Megastore in Birmingham, followed by an instore signing session. All those who attend will receive an exclusive giveaway. The band have a string of shows lined up at the beginning of July and the full ‘Death Of A Dead Day’ Tour lined up for September/October, with Special Guests to be announced shortly.
