Slayer announce break up and confirm final shows

Slayer have announced that after a thirty seven year career that they will be breaking up this year.

Originally forming in Huntington Park, California, the band are credited to being one of the bands to birth the long lasting endeavour of the genre known as thrash metal. This break up will see the band come off the back of releasing twelve albums in their career, the last of which being 2015’s ‘Repentless’ on Nuclear Blast Records.

The band have announced that they will be going on a final world tour this year, so keep an eye for their final UK shows. You can view a teaser for this tour below.
