Slow News Day #5

By Tom Aylott

So, it’s Sunday again. You’re probably a bit foggy from the weekend and resenting having to go to work tomorrow (if not, well done!), so we’re here to fix those blues with links to some of the content from across the site this week!

The big news story of the week was of the reunion of Finch. They’re set to play a reunion show in the US, and we’re hoping that they’ll eventually drag their ‘What It Is To Burn’ shows over to the UK on its 10th anniversary!

In similarly excellent news, we’ve teamed up with Lostprophets and Teenage Cancer Trust at Warped. Fans will be able to vote for their favourite LP rare live track to see at the event and we’ll be putting the video online after the Alexandra Palace event!

Not only that, Ghost Of A Thousand have reformed to support Alexisonfire at Brixton Academy, and it’s made the brace of Sold Out shows even more unmissable!

We snapped Young Guns in Cardiff and posted a review of the whole Vans show. We also rated and reviewed Of Mice & Men when they visited London! There’s also been reviews of new releases from pop punkers Light You Up and rapper P.O.S.

That should keep you busy!
