Soul Structure reveal video for ‘Baton Ye Hauld in Yer Paw’

By Aaron Lohan

Featuring former members of Plaids and What Price, Wonderland?, Soul Structure have unveiled a video for their song ‘Baton Ye Hauld in Yer Paw’.

According to the Nottingham post hardcore/emo trio, the song itself was originally inspired by a Scottish folk song called ‘Erin Go Bragh’, which tells the tale of man who kills a racist police officer in Edinburgh. The video was compiled by Arkless’ Andy Hemming, who used stock footage of 1940s policeman.

The track can be found on their fantastic debut album ‘True Love’, which was released earlier this year through Barely Regal Records (UK), strictly no capital letters (UK) and Dingleberry Records (GER).

Soul Structure also have a few UK shows coming up, including support slots with the likes of Self Defense Family and Rope.
