Sunn O))) announce live show at the Barbican

The infamous masters of volume, density and weight Sunn O))), will be making their Barbican debut next March. The band will be bringing their arrhythmic blend of metal, drone, contemporary composition, Jazz and minimalist music to the centre as part of the Convergence Festival on Tuesday 21st March.

Support comes from classically trained Icelandic singer and cellist Hildur Guðnadóttir who has played and recorded with bands such as Pan Sonic, Throbbing Gristle and Múm. As well as her solo project Lost in Hildurness, Guðnadóttir has also previously toured with Animal Collective and SUNN O))).

This show is being produced by the Barbican in association with Convergence Festival. Tickets will go on sale to Barbican Members on Thursday 1 December and then general sale on Friday 2 December here.
