The Homeless Gospel Choir LP streaming in full

By Ben Tipple

The Homeless Gospel Choir, the one-man project by Pittsburgh singer-songwriter Derek Zanetti, releases his new full-length entitled ‘I Used To Be So Young’ today.

His often politically or socially charged lyrics are delivered with a conflicting sense of amusement and venom, with each track tackling a separate frustration Zanetti has noted in life.

‘I Used To Be So Young’ is available through Anti-Flag’s A-F Records. It is also streaming in full over at Alternative Press.

“‘I Used To Be So Young’ was written as a form of rebellion to everything that is offered/ jammed down your throat from the moment you are born till the day you die,” Zanetti tells AltPress.com. “It’s a soundtrack to the car crashed in your head, when you watch the news, go to church, the bank, a funeral, a wedding, or the voting booth.”
