The Hotelier announce their third full-length, ‘Goodness’

By Ben Tipple

Massachusetts outfit The Hotelier have confirmed the follow-up to 2014’s seminal ‘Home, Like No Place Is There’, and their 2011 debut ‘It Never Goes Out’.

Taking to Tumblr, vocalist and bassist Christian Holden confirmed the title in a lengthy tour related post. “I’m very excited to show y’all this record the four of us worked on all last year,” he concluded. “It’s called Goodness. It’s a love record. I feel like we are allowed to do that now. We are announcing it tomorrow with a video my friend Xirin made. This is going to be tight.”

The announcement comes after a track entitled ‘Goodness Pt 1’ was released on lathe cut vinyl, and emerged online back in November of last year.

The (NSFW) video in question has now surfaced, officially confirming the record’s release – due via Tiny Engines in May 2016. The record was engineered and produced by Seth Manchester at Machines With Magnets in Pawtucket, RI during the late summer of 2015. This teaser features a reworked version of ‘Goodness Pt 1’, which sounds absolutely stunning.
