The St. Pierre Snake Invasion, one of the UK’s most underappreciated bands, are ready to record their second album. The Bristol punks Tweeted earlier today that they’d be heading to Rockfield Studios in Monmouth on the 16th January.
Prep your ear pussies/arses/throats because 16th January we head in to Rockfield for album #2

Hopefully that means we can expect the follow up the band’s impressive debut full length ‘A Hundred Year’s A Day’ at some point this year. The band have become firm festival favourites over the last few years because of their intimidating and aggressive live performances and a sharp, dark sense of humour. On ‘A Hundred Years A Day’ The St Pierre Snake Invasion managed to translate that energy into a cohesive, intelligent and monstrous album, however the band seem confident they can surpass the heights they reached on their debut.
Bit of half-feigned ego there but, fuck it. I’ve worked hard for my sense of entitlement and these songs are on a different level to AHYAD.
