Thrice share the video for ‘Black Honey’

By Ben Tipple

Thrice have unveiled an ominous road-movie style video to accompany the recently unveiled ‘Black Honey’. Similar in style to their ‘Alchemy Index’ days, the track will feature on their forthcoming ninth studio album, ‘To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere’.

Speaking to NPR of the track, one of the first the band wrote after reforming, vocalist Kensrue noted, “lyrically the song spawned from an image that popped into my head: someone continually swatting at a swarm of bees to get their honey, but somehow not understanding why they would sting back in return.”

To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere’ comes out May 27 on Vagrant in the US, and on the 17th June in the UK.
