Tokyo Taboo share video for ‘Papercut’ and announce UK tour dates

By James Davenport

London duo Tokyo Taboo have shared their new single ‘Papercut’ as well as the news of an upcoming UK tour supporting J-Rockers Espirit D’air.

Accompanying ‘Papercut’ is a tongue-in-cheek video depicting a group of apathetic 20-somethings participating in an experiment run by evil scientists. Of the video, director Gabriel Ralls explains: “(it’s) about how we view and treat Millennials in the Instagram Age; but similarly how we fuck ourselves over as we often know better. Like the scientists in the video, the warnings signs are all around us.”

Tokyo Taboo play the following live dates with Esprit D’air next month:

5th February 2018 – The Underworld, London
6th February 2018 – Buffalo Bar, Cardiff
7th February 2018 – Mama Roux’s, Birmingham
8th February 2018 – Aatma, Manchester
9th February 2018 – Jumpin’ Jacks, Newcastle
10th February 2018 – The Attic, Aberdeen
11th February 2018 – Audio, Glasgow
