Travis quits Living End

Aussie punks The Living End have parted ways with their drummer Travis Demsey.

In a statement singer Chris Cheney: “It’s more an agreement than a split. Since my car accident last September we’ve revaluated ourselves as human beings.

“We still regard Travis as a brilliant drummer but he’s probably realised we’re on different pages and that he’s not the right drummer for this band. We respect his decision to leave and wish him the best.”

Travis himself said: “After five and a half years, I want to explore new avenues and musical ventures. The decision is very amicable.”
