Weezer are rapidly becoming the most prolific band around, with recording for album number 5 well underway.
With ‘Maladroit’ still not in the shops, Rivers and co have been in the studio recording and demoing a batch of new songs.
Their official website, www.weezer.com lists the following as tracks the band are currently working on:
‘Mo Beats’, ‘Booby Trap’, ‘Prodigy Lover’, ‘Superstar’, ‘367’, ‘Misstep’, ‘Nice To Meet You’, ‘So Happy Together’, ‘Mad Kow’, ‘Yellow Camaro’ and ‘Private Message’.
It is not known when the as-yet-untitled fifth record will hit the streets.
The band have also just recorded the video for ‘Maladroit’s’ first single, the anthemic ‘Dope Nose’. Expect to see it on a music channel near you very soon…
